What Exactly Is Luis D. Ortiz Writing a Book About?

Luis D. Ortiz may be living the good life on his European vacation following his retirement from real estate, but there is one project that the former Big Apple agent may soon get to move from the back burner. Last year, Luis first teased his plans to write a book, and now we have a more concrete idea of what his in-the-works release will include in its pages.

"I'm in a good place to understand exactly the message I want to put in the book. And the book, I swear, I tell you, it's going to be amazing. I really believe in the message a lot and it makes sense," the Million Dollar Listing New York star told The Daily Dish. "It's kind of like the way I've been living for a while and it's gotten me to a very happy place. I want to share that."

While he didn't elaborate further on what genre the book will fall into, Luis did reiterate that the message he's trying to convey is what's most important to him, no matter what shape it takes. "The book is really about the importance of getting to know yourself in order to be happy," he said. "And when you're happy everything else will come: money, success, and respect. You just need to be happy first and all those things will come and then you decide whether or not [they] are important to you."
