New NYC Housewife Gets "Aggressive"

Family says Cindy Barshop won't be a wallflower addition to the cast.

Talk about baring it all. Cindy Barshop -- owner of an upscale spa chain specializing in hair removal -- wasn't afraid to let loose even though she's the low 'Wife on the Real Housewives of New York City totem pole.

"[Cindy] is very kind, but let me tell you, she is a very sharp lady," brother Howie spills to Us Weekly. "When she has to be aggressive [on the show], she has been. She did get aggressive when she had to."

The Completely Bare founder can handle the shriek-inducing pain of a Brazilian wax like no other, but admits lunching with her new co-stars proved far trickier. "No one gave me a handbook on how to be a housewife or who to interact with or how to be with them," she tells WWD.

We bet Cindy steps on a verbal landmine or two this season, but all in all, she came out blazing and seems to have landed a spot as Jill Zarin's new bestie. On January 21, the single mom of 1-year-old twin girls tweeted, "Going shopping with BFF Jill," followed by "@Jillzarin xoxo" six days later.

The same love isn't gushing Ramona's way, however. Back in September, the feisty blonde predicted a possible clash with the new girl. "She is very happy with herself. Not to say I'm not going to get pissed at her or have a fight with her about something -- that's just who I am sometimes," she tells Us Weekly.
