Craig Doesn't Understand Thomas' Behavior With His Kids

Thomas Ravenel raised Craig Conover's eyebrows when he seemed less than focused on his kids during a polo match in the latest episode of Southern Charm that aired Monday night. Craig didn't seem to approve of Thomas' actions since he thought he was being dismissive of his offspring, but Landon Clements chalked up his behavior to the way parents act in the south.

How to Watch

Watch Southern Charm on Bravo Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

The moment became a subject of discussion when Patricia Altschul appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and she offered her take on it. "Interestingly enough I asked Thomas about that and he said, and I agree with him, 'When you are playing polo it is an extremely dangerous game.' He wanted the children off of the field. He wanted to concentrate because if you lose your concentration you can get killed in the polo field," she said.

Craig took to Twitter to explain why he felt so emotional about the way Thomas was acting towards his children, noting that while he "didn't agree with his actions" the two guys were able to settle it afterwards.

Thomas even paid Craig a compliment on Twitter in the wake of his criticism. "Notwithstanding my [overreactive] previous remarks, I consider @C_Conover to be a smart, tough, well-meaning man with a big heart," the Charleston dad of two said.
