Paulina Ben-Cohen Addresses Why She Didn't Attend Shahs of Sunset Events This Season

Mike Shouhed's relationship with Paulina Ben-Cohen has been on everyone's lips during the current season of Shahs of Sunset. Not only has the Shahs friend group tried to get to the bottom of the texting situation and the dynamics of their relationship, but they've also tried to figure out why Paulina hasn't appeared at many of the gatherings and events that were happening during Season 9.

It was even a hot topic during the cast trip in the August 8 episode of Shahs of Sunset as she was not in attendance on the getaway (she did chat with Destiney Rose via a phone call, however).

Well, Paulina explained all during the Sunday (August 8) episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen where she was the night's guest bartender (Mike was in the episode, along with Ex-Rated relationship expert Shan Boodram).

Together, the Shahs couple cleared the air on the dynamics of their relationship, and Paulina addressed why she decided to sit out many of the Season 9 events with the cast. "I did not want to be there, so it had nothing to do with him telling me you can or cannot be there," she said. "No, that's not the case."

Amid the drama of Season 9, Paulina and Mike often share updates about their relationship on Instagram. They even recently marked a milestone in their relationship and celebrated their anniversary. "3 years down….forever to go. happy anniversary baby," Paulina wrote last month. Weeks before, timed around her birthday, she wrote alongside a sweet moment with Mike, "Grateful to have you by my side, till the day I die. This is 31."

Paulina shared even more insight into their relationship earlier this summer. "I couldn’t be more blessed to have you as my life partner. You are everything I have wanted and more. Thank you for making me feel special every single day. You are my dream come true," she wrote. "No one else I would want to do this life with. I love you today, tomorrow and forever."

Mike more recently summed up their romance quite sweetly on Instagram: "We go good together like [milk and cookies]."
