Ramona Singer's Dog Coco Has Passed Away
The RHONY mom's daughter, Avery Singer, posted a touching tribute to the family's late pet on Instagram.
Ramona Singer's dog Coco has passed away, it was confirmed by The Real Housewives of New York City cast member's daughter, Avery Singer, on Instagram on October 5.
Avery shared a touching tribute to Coco in the post. "To my Coco Baby who has been by my side for 17.5 years and all the milestones of my life that I can remember - I will treasure our memories forever and my heart is full knowing we had a one of a kind bond," Avery wrote. "Words can’t describe my love for you. I am forever grateful for all of our special memories. I will miss bringing you around in your stroller, purse, and sitting with me at the table. I hope you will have unlimited parmesan cheese…we all love you so much."
The Instagram post featured a collection of photos of the RHONY family with Coco through the years. "Rest in Peace my sweet angel," Avery concluded her tribute.
Coco has been there right by Ramona's side since the very first season of RHONY. In fact, Coco has had almost as many memorable moments on the show, whether it was hanging out with Ramona at home or interacting with the other New York Housewives.
The beloved pup celebrated her 17th birthday in March, which included a party filled with pink decorations, a colorful cake, and, of course, a crown for Coco, as shown in Avery's Instagram post from the big day, which also featured a throwback photo of the RHONY daughter with her dog when she was just a puppy. "Happy 17th Birthday to my Coco Baby," Avery gushed in the post. "Blessed to have grown up with you by my side. Love you forever, keep being ageless."
Ramona also commemorated the occasion, which also included Mario Singer as one of the party guests, on Instagram at the time.
This past May, Coco appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen when Avery was one of the virtual guests, along with many of her fellow kids of The Real Housewives. Avery opened up about her life now, including how much she had been enjoying getting the chance to spend so much time with Coco while working remotely for Cameo.
Coco would later move to Chicago with Avery in September. "My coco baby is obviously coming with me," Avery shared on Instagram while announcing her move.
Ramona shared at the time that she was "sad and happy at the same time" about her girls moving away. She also documented her "last walk with Coco and Avery" in her Instagram Stories. "My young girls are leaving me, but I will visit them," she added. "Go take Chicago over [Avery]."
But of course, Ramona and Avery will always have the best memories of Coco, as they've shared on Instagram with their followers and fellow Coco fans.
