'Real Housewives of New York City' Reunion Sneak Peek
LuAnn, Ramona, Alex tangle in this teaser.
Detonating an f-bomb at a Real Housewives reunion taping is nothing new. But when it comes from our seemingly unflappable Andy Cohen, you know you've hit some rough waters. There were plenty of four-letter shots fired during the Real Housewives of New York City reunion, which starts tonight. But when the squabbling finally became too heated even for him, Andy let his F flag fly. "Shut the #&@% up!" Andy shouted in a clip of outtakes he recently shared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
"I get beat down a little bit," Andy admitted to the Late Night host about the reunion's marathon nine-hour taping. "The New York Housewives are the most aggressive in terms of wanting to get their point across," Andy said. "I had the hardest time getting them to speak one at a time."
But while Andy's f-bomb didn't make it out of the edit bay, there are still plenty of fireworks ahead in tonight's RHONY reunion, as evidenced in our sneak peek. When Andy dives into the insults that flew over the who's-in and who's-out of LuAnn de Lesseps' "Chic C'est La Vie" music video, the heated exchange between the Countess and Ramona Singer soon sprawled out to other 'Wives. "I was so shocked how low you would go," LuAnn says during the reunion, citing Ramona's hints that she was offended by the Countess's marital history and child-rearing skills. "I don't talk behind her back like she does to me!" LuAnn adds.
Enter Alex McCord, who chimes in from the blondes' couch telling the Countess, "You talk behind everybody's back." When LuAnn insists she did not insult Ramona, Andy interrupts to point out that indeed "you called her a bitch."
Trying as it was for Andy to manage the battle between the blondes and brunettes, he had to admit that all the fireworks make great television. See for yourself tonight when part 1 of the Real Housewives of New York City reunion airs at 10/9c.
