We have an update on how Kenya Moore’s co-parenting relationship with her ex, Marc Daly, is going. Of course, fans know that Kenya and Marc share a daughter, Brooklyn Daly.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock and the Bravo App.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member recently appeared on Tamron Hall’s talk show and shared some news about co-parenting with Marc. “Well, we’re trying [to co-parent],” she said. “I’m very protective of my daughter and that’s her dad and he has been there in terms of speaking to her on FaceTime every day, but the fact of, like, seeing her in person has not been there. And that breaks my heart because I don’t want that for her. And even though now that’s her normal, but I don’t want that to be her normal. So we’re trying.”

Kenya’s appearance on Tamron Hall comes several years after Kenya and Marc were on the talk show together shortly before they announced they were splitting up. During her most recent sit-down with Tamron, Kenya opened up about that time in her life. The RHOA mom shared that while she always had “hope” they could fix the issues in their relationship, she said that ultimately it was a “struggle” for them “to work through their differences” and to get “on the same page.” She also noted that she felt like her “voice was stifled a lot” in her relationship with her now ex.

And that brings us to today. Kenya most recently shared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that she and Marc are still in the process of formalizing their divorce (clip above).

“[The divorce is still ongoing] because we didn’t have a prenup,” she later told Tamron. While sitting down with the talk show host, Kenya opened up more about her choice not to get a prenup before they married. While she has always advocated for prenups, she said, “When it came to my marriage, I said, ‘I want a prenup.’ He was adamant about not having one, and yeah, I regret not having one.”

Kenya filed for divorce from Marc in August 2021. That filing came nearly two years after Kenya and Marc first confirmed they had separated in September 2019 after marrying in June 2017.

As for what’s next for Kenya, she revealed she is starting to get back out there and is dating again.
