In case you need a refresher, here are all the details that you need to know about Adrienne and Paul’s divorce, and what they’ve been up to in the many years since then.

When did Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif divorce?

Adrienne and Paul officially filed for divorce in August 2012, citing “irreconcilable differences.” This came on the heels of Paul filing for legal separation one month earlier in July, according to TMZ.

The timing of this announcement came at a very rough time for Paul. “Adrienne and I tried very hard to make our marriage work. A difficult time,” he wrote in a post shared to X (formerly Twitter) at the time. “Sadly, lost my dad yesterday, a man who taught me how to be a man.”

Adrienne and Paul had been married for 10 years at the time of the filing, after having tied the knot in 2002.

Why did Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif divorce?

RHOBH viewers were no strangers to the tiffs that would occur between Adrienne and Paul on the show. In fact, Adrienne joked in 2011 that her and Paul should have their own spinoff titled “The Bickersons” given how much they fought on screen. These arguments contributed to their split, according to the divorce filings.

Adrienne tried her best to explain the motivation behind their split at the time of their divorce, following allegations of their fighting that were made public in the filings.

“I’m so sorry that this is happening but my children are my life and sometimes we need to do what’s best for them,” Adrienne told Radar Online in July 2012. “It’s an unfortunate situation, but I have to have my kids’ best interest at heart.”

In August 2013, a year after filing for divorce, Adrienne and Paul released a joint statement, according to E! News, stating that they had reached an agreement on the outstanding issues relating to the divorce settlement “and all pending litigation.”

“Our first goal is our children’s well-being and happiness. As their parents and advocates that is our goal. Our children are our most important treasures and need to be treated with the respect and privacy they deserve," they said in a statement. "We’re happy to be moving forward with our lives in a positive way not only individually but as co-parents. This is a new beginning for each of us. Our goal is to have stable and nurturing relationships with both of us so we can all find as much happiness as possible. We appreciate the good wishes we continue to receive from our supporters around the world.”

How has Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif’s relationship evolved over time?

After making a guest appearance on RHOBH in 2016, Adrienne provided a much welcomed update on her relationship with Paul in an interview with The Daily Dish in January 2016.

“It’s constantly changing and [we’re] working on co-parenting and being better parents,” she said. “But it’s a process. It’s always evolving.”

The mom of three, who noted that her kids “always come first” in her life, admitted that co-parenting had been tough on them, but they were working on it. “You really have to find solutions,” she said. “You’ve got to find answers. You have to seek help if you need it. And in our case, we both needed to have a third party help us and guide us through this process.”

In May 2016, Paul told The Daily Dish that he and Adrienne were on good terms, with their kids being their biggest focus.

“Everything’s fine,” he said. “All we care about is making sure our kids are being raised properly. That’s the most important thing. So we’re fine. Status quo.”

When did Paul Nassif marry his second wife?

Although his relationship with Adrienne did not work out, Paul was able to find love again.

He got married to Brittany Pattakos Nassif in an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles in September 2019. The couple had been dating for quite some time before their engagement and seemed overjoyed to spend the rest of their lives together.

The couple exchanged vows a second time in Santorini, Greece in front of 65 guests in October 2019, with Paul serenading Brittany with a performance of Lady Gaga’s “I’ll Always Remember Us This Way” from A Star is Born.

When did Paul Nassif and Brittany Pattakos have their daughter, Paulina?

Paul and Brittany welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Paulina Anne Nassif, on October 12, 2020. She is Paul’s fourth child and first daughter — though his sons were pretty excited, too.

“The kids are very excited to have a little sister,” he told The Daily Dish in July 2020. “I’m obviously excited because I want a little girl. They were very happy for us. And honestly, I think they expected it ‘cause they kept saying like, ‘You pregnant yet?’ So they’re excited to have a little baby sister.”

Adrienne attended Paulina’s first birthday party in October 2021 with her and Paul’s three sons.

In March 2023, Paul, Brittany, and Paulina welcomed another new addition into their family: A puppy named Luna.

In the July 2020 Life After Bravo interview at the top of this post, Adrienne opened up about her time on RHOBH and said that the show had helped her and Paul by making them realize that they were not the right fit for one another.

“I think that the show actually did me a favor by getting out of a relationship that was not right for both of us and so, when I look back, I think it would have happened,” she said. “It just happened sooner, than later. The good thing is, now we are very good friends, we care about each other, I believe we really worked hard, we worked at it to make things right for our children.”

Paul agreed with these sentiments in a July 2023 interview with E! News. “I think being on a reality show, it did speed up our demise and divorce,” he admitted. “I think it was going to happen anyway, eventually.”

But to get to the place where they are now, Adrienne explained during Life After Bravo that they had to do “a lot of counseling.” “That’s just the way it is,” she admitted. “And it was years of counseling and it was years of co-parenting. The sooner you can think, how do I get out of this and become adults, because we both had to learn how to be adults, for our children. And I think we’re role models now.”

And now they communicate very well, Paul told E! News. “I’ve talked to her at least five, six times a week, which is a good thing for our kids.”

Recent Photos of Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif’s Families

Adrienne posted a photo of herself with her sons (and her dog in a stroller!) in January 2023, captioning the sweet family moment, “From my family to yours, Happy New Year,” adding the hashtag “blessed.”

Paul posted a festive photo with the three boys and his wife, Brittany, in December 2022 (which you can see here). As for Paul and Brittany’s daughter, Paulina, Paul noted: “Also, for those of you wondering, Paulina was getting ready for bed while we were at a holiday party and took this picture!”

Of course, Paul shares plenty of moments with Paulina, including a December 2022 video of the little girl bonding with her big brothers which he captioned, “Paulina wants to be just like her big brothers… even if that means working out with them!”

He has also posted other sweet moments with his daughter. “It feels like yesterday when she was just learning how to walk,” he noted about one November 2022 Instagram. “Now look at her run! She’s already faster than me!”

As for Paul and Brittany, well, the plastic surgeon’s recent birthday tribute to his life partner proves they are as happy as ever. “Happy Birthday to my soulmate, partner, love of my life and my best friend,"  he wrote in January 2023. "It’s been an unimaginably difficult year and you’ve helped me and our family get through it with so much grace and poise while still being the best mom to Paulina! Thank you for making life so much better. I’m proud of you and I love you more and more every single day."
