Erika Jayne and Sutton Stracke's Drama Takes a Surprising Turn During the RHOBH Mexico Trip

If you feel a chill, it's probably due to the iciness between Erika Jayne and Sutton Stracke on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills following a tense Season 11 for the pair. The conflict between the women has continued in the current Season 12, during which they memorably admitted to not liking one another and told each other, "Go f--k yourself."

But all of that might be changing, thanks to the girls' trip to Mexico. In the above preview of the June 22 episode of RHOBH, Erika and Sutton, who are both currently single, have a friendly conversation about dating during a group dinner on the vacation, of which Lisa Rinna and Crystal Kung Minkoff take note. "It's awesome," Crystal tells Lisa across the table. "It makes me happy."

Sutton explains why she seemed to be warming to Erika in an interview in the clip. "Erika's so tough, and I really don't like her actions. But sometimes she's kind of funny," she shares. "And I like funny people."

Though Dorit Kemsley also points out how these two have "made small steps" during the Mexico trip, Erika is quick to clarify that it's not like she and Sutton are suddenly BFFs. "I don't put expectations on anything. Nice moments are nice moments for me, and that's where I'm at," Erika tells the group. "We still need to work things out, but it's definitely steps in the right direction."

Sutton agrees that she and Erika "have issues," but, she says, "We're kind of very similar people."

However, if Erika and Sutton are to form a friendship, they're going to do it on their own terms. "I don't do well when people force s--t on me," Erika shares in an interview in the sneak peek. "Can I just be me?"
