Garcelle Beauvais Shares an Exciting Update on Her Career
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member reveals there's "much more to come" in her future.
Garcelle Beauvais is making major moves in her professional life. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member recently took to Instagram to share a monumental update regarding her career, revealing an exciting development deal between her production company, Garcelle Beauvais Productions, and NBCUniversal Television and Streaming Entertainment.
"I’m so excited and honored for this next chapter with [NBCUniversal]," Garcelle wrote in the caption of her February 14 post, alongside a capture of the Deadline article announcing the big news. She added in the caption of her post, "Thank you for breaking the news, [Deadline]. Cheers to much more to come."
Several fellow Housewives shared their excitement about the news in the comments. The Real Housewives of New York City's Eboni K. Williams wrote, "Fantastic!! Congratulations Beautiful." "You never cease to amaze me. Superwoman!" wrote RHOBH's Sutton Stracke, while Crystal Kung Minkoff added, "Yassssssss!" Lisa Rinna also chimed in, writing, "Congratulations Garcelle. So major!!"
Garcelle further expressed how happy she was regarding the development deal on Twitter. "So excited!!!" she wrote in her February 14 post.
She also opened up about the major career update in the Deadline announcement. "I am incredibly excited about working with the team at NBCUniversal Television in this new capacity,” Garcelle told Deadline, adding, “My production company team and I feel we have not only found a wonderful place to originate new ideas and collaborate on meaningful content, but also to expand into many wonderful horizons.”
Garcelle's latest career highlight adds to the list of her many impressive accomplishments, including her humanitarian work, career as a TV and film actress, talk show host, author, and model.
Last year, Garcelle gave details about the upcoming release of her memoir, Love Me As I Am, which follows her journey from her early childhood in Haiti to her time as a young model in New York, and through her more than three decades as an actress.
"It's official...my very first memoir will be here on April 12,” she wrote in an October 12 Instagram post. “I am so excited for you all to get to know me and my story better.”
It was also confirmed in December that Garcelle along with Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Girardi, Sutton Stracke, and Crystal Kung Minkoff will all be back for Season 12 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Kathy Hilton will also return as a friend of in the upcoming new season. It was also confirmed that Diana Jenkins will join the cast as a Housewife and Sheree Zampino will be hanging out as a friend.
