On RHOBH Season 13, Dorit revealed that a more recent incident put her "right back into the throes of PTSD."

Dorit Kemsley opened up about the lasting effects of the home invasion that took place in 2021 during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 premiere — namely, her struggles with PTSD — and on Nov. 1's Episode 2, she revealed that she was actually subject to another scary incident.

As such, Dorit has since been thrown "right back into the throes of PTSD," she said in a confessional interview. That, combined with the fact that she and her husband Paul "PK" Kemsley have been struggling with their marriage, has made for a particularly "difficult year," she explained. Read on for details.

Everything We Know About Dorit Kemsley’s Robbery

Dorit discussed the more recent incident in a confessional. "Last Christmas was about 14 months after the home invasion, and I went to the bank and I took out $10,000 so I could have some money for Christmas gifts. I had my handbag in the shopping cart. When I got to the register, I realized that my handbag was gone," she recalled. "The police came down and they reviewed the video surveillance. They discovered that I was followed by three men."

From then on, Dorit's PTSD worsened — but as she told Erika Jayne, PK didn't necessarily recognize that. "I've always been the girl that soldiers on. That's who I am. That's who PK knows," she said. "I definitely underestimated how big of a setback this last incident had on me."

Continuing to open up to Erika, Dorit explained that she and PK "had a really difficult year."

"He was spending a lot of time in London; He had a lot of business there," she added. "And it was a year that I needed him the most. I didn't feel supported enough and I didn't feel as connected."

Dorit Kemsley and Paul "PK" Kemsley's Conversation About Their Issues

Later, Dorit expressed her concerns to PK himself after he surprised her with an elaborate date for their anniversary. "You know I have anxieties and I'm not my best yet," she said, "and I'm gonna need you along the way."

PK, however, explained that he "definitely struggle[s] to understand the PTSD thing."

The topic of conversation quickly changed, but Dorit reflected on their chat (as well as PK's anniversary surprise) in a confessional. "Right now, I don't need a big gesture," she began. "I need help from PK with the kids, with the house, with work, schedules. I need him to step up and say, 'I'm gonna take care of this.'"

There's just one problem, though. Added Dorit, "That's not his personality, so I'm gonna have to work on him being able to help me — which is gonna take more out of me. And I'm not sure I'll ever get there."

But back with PK, they both agreed: "We can always get better."
