Andy Cohen Apologizes to Garcelle Beauvais Over RHOBH Season 12 Reunion
The WWHL host issued an apology about the conversation involving Garcelle’s memoir.
Andy Cohen has an important message for Garcelle Beauvais after Part 2 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 12 reunion.
“I’ve been listening to everyone’s feedback about the reunion, and I really need to sincerely apologize, not only for diverting the topic but for not returning — even worse — to the serious conversation that was at hand,” the Watch What Happens Live host said during the October 24 episode of Radio Andy.
Andy added that he has a “deep admiration” for Garcelle and expressed his regret for not being “more in tune with her feelings” amid the conversation about her memoir. The topic arose when Lisa Rinna revealed that she was responsible for throwing away Garcelle’s book and snapping a photo of it in the trash, despite Erika Jayne being the one to post the picture on Instagram. Andy followed up the admission by poking fun at Lisa’s recycling habits, while some fans felt he should’ve instead checked in with Garcelle so she could express her feelings on the hurtful matter.
In addition to issuing the apology, Andy said he and Garcelle recently “had a really good, productive conversation.”
