Kara Keough Bosworth's Brother Shane Pays Tribute to His "Forever Nephew" After Baby's Passing
RHOC alum Jeana Keough's family is mourning baby McCoy.
The loss of Kara Keough Bosworth's son, McCoy Casey Bosworth, is being felt by those closest to her, including her brother Shane Keough. Shane, who is the son of The Real Housewives of Orange County's Jeana Keough, posted a heartfelt tribute to McCoy, who died shortly after his birth.
He called McCoy on Instagram Stories his "forever nephew." Shane also posted a photo on Instagram of McCoy's nursery along with the message:
“Tonight, we join together to honor this little savior’s gifts of life. Through him, may others find new hope and profound healing... and may he live again through them. May his legacy shine in the form of lifetimes aplenty - lives filled with laughter, compassion, energy, love, and most of all gratitude. May it be said that McCoy Casey Bosworth left this world in a better place, for a better place.... that he made an impact... that he was an answered prayer... that he was a hero. May angels lead him in. Thank you, McCoy.”
Kara announced she was expecting her second child with husband Kyle Bosworth back in October 2019. (They are parents to a 4-year-old daughter, Decker). On April 14, she confirmed the child's passing in an Instagram post, confirming that "during the course of his birth, he experienced shoulder dystocia and a compressed umbilical cord."
On Instagram, Kara noted that the family had made the decision to donate McCoy's organs.
