Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Ex-Husband Sean Reunited for the Best Reason

Braunwyn Windham-Burke and her ex-husband, Sean Burke, never miss an opportunity to celebrate their kids. On February 7, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shared photos of a sweet family gathering held in honor of a special 5-year-old. 

One photo shows Sean and Braunwyn leaning over their youngest daughter as she prepares to blow out the candles on her birthday cake. “Had so much fun celebrating our baby Hazel this weekend!!” the LGBTQ+ rights advocate wrote. “Family is what you create, and at the end of the day, it’s about the kids!”

Braunwyn, who reflects on her coming-out experience in the clip above, added the hashtags “gay mom” and “blended family.” And based on the photos, it looks like the blended fam had a blast.

There were snacks, storybooks, and carnival-style rides. And as Hazel and her friends partied like sugar-buzzed 5-year-olds, they had plenty of adult supervision: Sean, Braunwyn, and Braunwyn’s girlfriend, Jennifer Spinner, were all on hand to watch the kids.

After a trial separation in August 2021, Sean and Braunwyn filed for divorce last October. But as the duo’s relationship shifts, Braunwyn has never wavered on her kids-first commitment. Weeks before announcing her divorce, she shared a family photo with a heartfelt caption. 

“Family first! No matter what’s going on it’s so important to remember this!” she wrote. “Co-parenting isn’t always easy, but so glad we can keep these family traditions going!!!”
