Stop What You're Doing Because Emily Simpson Shared a Very Revealing Fact About Shane
The RHOC cast member opened up about her hubby like never before (trust us!) and compared him to another OC spouse.
The Real Housewives of Orange County fans have spent the last few seasons getting to know Emily Simpson's husband, Shane Simpson, better. But no one, probably, ever expected to get to know him this intimately and, well, there's no going back now.
When Emily stopped by the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Clubhouse on Wednesday (March 9), she participated in a drinking game titled "Let's! Get! Fisting!" in which she, along with her fellow guest, Saturday Night Live star Aidy Bryant, and host Andy Cohen, shared spicy details about their lives.
When Andy posed the question, "Never have I ever given a man's penis a nickname?"... well, Emily sipped her drink, meaning she has (as did Aidy. Andy did not, for the record). That prompted this conversation. "Does Shane's have a [nickname]?" Andy then asked. Well, Emily answered. And you can find out what that nickname is by pressing play on the video, above. Spoiler alert: It left Andy proclaiming, "Oh, wow."
If you've recovered from that reveal, let's move on. Emily then spoke a bit about a new Househusband that fans are becoming familiar with this season, Dr. Jen Armstrong's spouse, Ryne. Jen and Ryne have been open about their own marital ups and downs, and some of their struggles feel familiar to Emily, as she explained to Andy during her WWHL appearance.
When a fan asked about Ryne not showing up to couples counseling, Emily noted, "I understand his position 'cause I feel like he reminds me of Shane in the past when Shane wasn't comfortable filming and talking about things... I don't think he's comfortable. And I don't think it's that he's a bad husband; I think he doesn't want to talk about these things with millions of people watching. I respect that 'cause I went through that with Shane. So I get it."
