Shannon Storms Beador Reveals What She Thinks Is "Absurd" About Her Drama with Heather Dubrow
Fellow RHOC cast member Heather also shares an update on where they stand amid their Season 16 drama.
As is sometimes the case, old tensions die hard, and that is definitely what's happened for Shannon Storms Beador and Heather Dubrow. When Heather returned for Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, the two ladies picked up where they left off and found themselves in the thick of drama — albeit new — with one another.
And when Shannon stopped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday (January 19), it was definitely a hot topic. Andy Cohen wanted Shannon to share her side of "the big issue of this season so far," aka her drama with Heather, and then asked, "Can you defend telling Emily [Simpson] and Gina [Kirschenheiter] about Nicole [James'] past suing [Dr.] Terry Dubrow?"
"In my wildest dreams, I never thought that it could be the same person, because none of it made sense. So I was talking to two girlfriends never thinking that it was a possibility," Shannon said in response. "No [I wasn't being shady], I couldn't for the life of me figure out who this girl was that said she knew me."
As for Heather's response this season to it all, Andy wanted to know, "Do you think you were punished too harshly by Heather for it?" Shannon noted, "Beyond. It was absurd."
Later on in the WWHL episode, Shannon opened up about sitting down with Heather earlier this season amid all their tension. The conversation was particularly heated and included a certain "promise," as Shannon put it.
"When she was saying those words to me, I didn't have any intention to go after her family," Shannon recalled on WWHL this week. "I had a difficult time with it. Watching it back is hard," she added.

During a recent Q&A session with fans, Heather offered an update on where things stand with Shannon today. "You'll have to wait and see how the show plays out," she shared, later adding if she has any regrets about anything that has happened this season, noting, "Yes, for sure. No one is perfect. We all say things that we wish we had said differently. That's what the reunion is for."
