Lauri Peterson Shares an Update on Her Son and Granddaughter: "You Are Surrounded by Love"
The RHOC alum opened up about where things stand in her family as 2020 comes to a close.
It's been quite the year for The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Lauri Peterson. After her son Josh Waring was released from jail back in March after accepting a plea deal in his attempted murder case, the RHOC alum has offered an update on how he's doing today.
On December 20, Lauri posted a photo of her with her son, along with an emotional message to celebrate his birthday. "As you celebrate this great day, know that life has opened up a new chapter for you. May you always begin each day with optimism and gratitude, for they will always lead you to happiness and peace. You are surrounded by love!!!" she wrote.
Josh is parent to one daughter, Kennady, who Lauri adopted back in 2015. And as you can see from some recent photos Lauri posted, Kennady has been living her best life with the RHOC alum and her husband of 12 years, George Peterson.
Kennady, who started second grade this year, recently turned 8, which left Lauri and George in their feelings. George wrote on Instagram, "Can’t believe it’s been 8 years now! Happy Big 8th Birthday to Kennady! Such an amazing girl that adds happiness to our lives and others everyday."
Lauri added, "Oh my....where has the time gone!"
And the trio has definitely been getting in the holiday spirit.
