Alexia Echevarria Marries Todd Nepola: "Truly Everything We Wanted"

The Real Housewives of Miami's Alexia Echevarria and businessman Todd Nepola are officially Mrs. and Mr. Nepola, after previously delaying their wedding. The couple wed on December 16 in St. Barths several months after their previously scheduled August date which was delayed when Alexia's mom, Nancy, passed away.

The RHOM cast member confirmed the happy news to Us Weekly on Tuesday (December 21). “I’m a wife!!! (A real one.) It still feels like a dream I can’t even put into words,” she told the publication. “[It was] perfect for us! Truly everything we wanted. Just him and I. … We look forward to celebrating with our friends and family in 2022.”

The wedding came two years after they became engaged in December 2019. Alexia recalled some of the highlights from the wedding, which took place at sunset, noting that "our favorite moment of the ceremony was when a big sea turtle came up to above the water. I knew there was a symbolic and spiritual meaning and the universe trying to tell me something. Sea turtles symbolize longevity, peace, perseverance, healing, steadfastness, wisdom and emotional strength. I am a sea turtle!”

She added that there was yet another memorable moment from the happy occasion: “Another special moment was when I closed my eyes, kissed and tossed my flower bouquet into the ocean while thinking of my mom and dad. They both loved flowers and the ocean. I could feel both of them right by my side.”

After the ceremony, the newlyweds had a romantic dinner along with champagne and dancing. One day prior to walking down the aisle, she posted a couple of photos from St. Barths and captioned them, "BIG DAY tomorrow."

Alexia also confirmed her wedding in a statement on Instagram on December 21: "This year has been a whirlwind to say the least, but finishing it off as Mr. & Mrs. gives me hope for the years to come. Thank you all for your kind wishes and love. 12.16.21."

She received messages of support in the comments section of the post from the Bravo family. 

RHOM's Lisa Hochstein wrote, "Congrats baby!" Adriana De Moura added, "Surprise! Congrats to the beautiful couple." Marysol Patton wrote, "Finalllyyyyyyy."  Larsa Pippen added, "Congrats [heart emoji]."

Eboni K. Williams commented with a loving message, "Stunning! Congratulations and have a beautiful marriage." And Nene Leakes simply wrote, "Congratulations."

This is the third marriage for Alexia. As RHOM fans will recall she was married to Herman Echevarria; he passed away in 2016 after they had already separated. Her first marriage was to Pedro Rosello, with whom she shares two sons, Frankie and Peter.

As it turns out, Alexia married Todd on the same day that Season 4 of RHOM began streaming on Peacock. New episodes premiere every Thursday.
