Andy Cohen Teases Why the RHONJ Season 13 Reunion Will Be "Tough"
The WWHL host also shared what makes him "sad" about Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga's ongoing feud.
The drama is intensifying on The Real Housewives of New Jersey as Teresa Giudice and Luis "Louie" Ruelas are just weeks away from their wedding, and Joe and Melissa Gorga are considering what sort of place they will have on the big day (viewers, of course, now know that the latter couple did not end up attending).
Plus, Danielle Cabral isn't getting along with Jackie Goldschneider or Rachel Fuda; Margaret Josephs and Jennifer Aydin still aren't the best of friends; and the latter cast member has called for a truce with Dolores Catania.
As a result, there will be a lot for the cast to talk about when the Season 13 reunion films. On the RHONJ After Show for the April 4 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, host Andy Cohen and guest Dolores chatted about why this reunion will likely stand apart from the rest.
"This one's gonna be tough because, I mean, regarding the Teresa and Mel [drama], to me, it's over," Andy said, with Dolores agreeing that she also feels that way, as do Melissa and Teresa. Andy also noted that, this time around, the three have found "clarity" about their relationship, and are all ready to move on.
"This has been [a] long time coming," Dolores said, clarifying that she doesn't believe that Louie had anything to do with the demise of the relationship between the two siblings.
Though neither Andy nor Dolores is surprised by what happened, the two are concerned about how Teresa's four daughters and Joe and Melissa's three children will be affected by it.
"It's sad to see the kids get involved," Andy said, and Dolores responded: "I don't like that."
"I hope that they can stay together, the kids. I really do. I think that, if it's over, they need to stop talking about each other, and to each other, and just let time heal," she added.
