Are Rachel Fuda and Jennifer Fessler Taking Sides in Teresa and Melissa’s Drama? They Say…

The RHONJ Season 13 newcomers weighed in on the family feud during WWHL.

By Allison Crist

Rachel Fuda and Jennifer Fessler appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen after The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s March 21 episode, and it turns out the “number one question” viewers had for the Season 13 newcomers involved Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/9c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

More specifically, Andy asked, “Are y’all Team Melissa or Team Teresa based on what you know and your experiences?”

Responded Rachel, “I don’t like the whole ‘team’ thing, to be honest with you.”

“I love Melissa and Joe [Gorga] — they’re very dear friends of ours — but the whole ‘team’ thing feels so juvenile,” she added. “And I really want to be fluid.”

Jennifer issued a similar answer, telling Andy, “I’m 54 years old, I don’t do the ‘team’ thing anymore.”

The pair’s RHONJ castmates aren’t all in agreement with them, but Dolores Catania — who has been friends with both Melissa and Teresa for years — definitely is. Discussing the feud between the sisters-in-law during a recent appearance on the We Should Talk series for In the Know by Yahoo!, she said, “There’s so much hurt going on here, and there’s so much behind-the-scenes going on. And I think it’s nastier and uglier than it’s ever been… So now it’s coming to the point where it hasn’t been easy amongst the women for them to not feel some type of way about me that I’m not jumping on either side.”

“But not now and not ever do I let somebody else dictate how I handle things,” Dolores continued. “It’s never been easy to not pick a side because of what people say to me. And to be honest, I don’t really care what someone thinks or what someone says. And that’s how I maintain it.”

She may be staying neutral, but she does have an opinion on how Teresa, Melissa, and Joe should move forward. “I just think it’s time for them to really part ways,” she said on WWHL in February. “I don’t want that… but if there’s no peace in their life being together, then I think it’s time.”
