Teresa Giudice Reacts to Dolores Catania Saying She and the Gorgas Should “Part Ways”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey OG gave the latest update on the drama with Joe and Melissa Gorga on WWHL.
Dolores Catania weighed in on the drama between Teresa Giudice, Joe Gorga, and Melissa Gorga during Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on February 7, and now Teresa is sharing her thoughts on Dolores’ take.
As fans may recall, Dolores had expressed that perhaps “it’s time for them to really part ways.”
“I don’t want that,” The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member added at the time. “But if there’s no peace in their life being together, then I think it’s time.”
Teresa, for her part, agreed. During the February 14 episode of WWHL, Andy specifically mentioned the notion that she “separate” from Joe and Melissa, and she responded, “That’s what’s happening. Unfortunately.”
Sitting alongside her husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, Teresa then brought up that night’s all-new episode of RHONJ. “We were on the plane watching it coming back from L.A. and I was in disbelief,” she explained. “And I’m not even angry or anything. I just don’t even — that’s not my brother. That’s how I feel. I’m like, who is that person?”
But regardless of how Teresa is feeling, “I don’t want to fight with him,” she added. “I just don’t know what to say… It’s very sad.”
Teresa has expressed a similar sentiment while feuding with her brother before, but as RHONJ fans are surely aware, this season sees the siblings in their worst tiff yet. Some of the drama teased in the trailer has already started to play out, including their disagreement over Melissa being excluded from Teresa and Louie’s wedding. (This, of course, ultimately led to Joe and Melissa skipping the wedding entirely.)
The RHONJ Season 13 premiere also saw Melissa express her disappointment in Teresa for allegedly not returning a text message she had sent after the intense Season 12 reunion in 2022. Teresa, however, said she didn’t understand what the big deal was. Then, after watching the episode back, she took to her podcast to further react. “I gave birth on the show. I went to prison on the show. I got divorced on the show. I got married on the show. I buried my parents on the show,” Teresa said. “This is what I’ve done, and her story is I didn’t return a text message? That’s her storyline? We are not the same. Never been, never will.”
Melissa issued a direct response to Teresa’s podcast comments later that day. In addition to sharing her side of the story, she told fans to simply “continue to watch this season,” as everything “will make much more sense” in the future.
