We’re Learning a Bit More About Mia Thornton’s Friendship with Jacqueline Blake

The Real Housewives of Potomac viewers have been getting to know Mia Thornton’s good friend Jacqueline Blake a little better during Season 7. And in the upcoming January 1 episode of RHOP, Mia breaks down in more detail her bond and relationship with her longtime friend.

In a first look at Sunday’s episode, Mia reveals in an interview that “Jacqueline is like our sister wife… without benefits,” referring to her husband, Gordon, and herself.

As revealed at the beginning of Season 7, Jacqueline “joins as a friend. She and Mia are so close that one might think they are sisters, but some unusual behavior has the ladies wondering what the real story is.”

Mia Thornton Gives a Health Update After Previous Scare

In fact, Mia and Jacqueline’s friendship runs even deeper than fans may realize. “A lot of people don’t know this, but Jacqueline’s mother and my stepmom were best friends in high school,” Mia said. “And I found a picture of her mom in my stepmom’s photo album, and to find out that it was a full 360 situation, we were like, ‘OK, I’m kind of stuck with you forever now. Forever.’”

In fact, when Jacqueline stops by Mia’s house to hang out, she notes that “there are so many layers to our relationship, literally from childhood, that they [the others in the RHOP group] will never understand.”
