Robyn Sets the Record Straight on the Juan Drama and Explains Why It Wasn’t Included on RHOP Season 7

During an appearance on WWHL, Robyn recounted what Juan told her about the allegations: “I believe him.”

When Robyn Dixon appeared on the February 5 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she had so much more to discuss than just her recent wedding to Juan Dixon (which was revealed in the final moments of The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 7 finale).

Shortly before the finale aired, Robyn said on a Patreon episode of her and Gizelle Bryant’s podcast, Reasonably Shadythat Juan had communicated with a woman he met on Instagram during the pandemic.

While Robyn claimed that Juan did not have any sort of physical relationship with the woman, a photo came out showing the former NBA player’s name on a hotel receipt. Though Robyn knew about this before filming commenced on RHOP Season 7, she did not talk about it on the show.

She did, however, talk about it on WWHL. Robyn, whose first marriage to Juan ended, in part, because of his past infidelity, went from celebrating her newlywed bliss to spending time in the hot seat on the late-night talk series.

When host Andy Cohen asked Robyn to explain the hotel receipt, the Embellished hat creator said the woman lives in Canada, which was under a “strict lockdown during the pandemic.”

“The hotel receipt comes into play because, for whatever reason, she decided that she wanted to fly to Maryland,” Robyn explained on the show, which you can check out in the video above. “And she had told Juan that she was dating a Baltimore Ravens player.”

Robyn said that when Juan found out the woman was coming to Maryland, his reaction was “OK, whatever.”

“Somewhere along the way, she gets to Maryland, she’s reaching out to him, she tells him she lost her wallet in the casino and she cannot pay for her hotel room,” Robyn continued. “So he feels bad for her. Apparently she was, like, you know, really stressed out, really distraught. He feels bad for her, goes to the hotel, puts his card down for her at the counter or whatever, and that’s it.”

Robyn said that while Juan did pay for the hotel, he told her the payment was the extent of his interaction with the woman.

Andy then asked if that was the “only time they met in person,” and Robyn responded, “Yes.”

When the host pointed out that the story could sound fishy “to a lot of people,” Robyn agreed. “It sounded like BS to me, honestly,” she admitted about how she felt when she first heard about it. However, she said she changed her mind when she heard his full side of the story.

“I believe him,” she said, before noting that she thinks what he said lines up with what the woman shared online.

As for why she decided not to bring up the cheating allegations on the show, Robyn had a simple explanation.

“It was so in the back of my mind,” she said, adding that the two had “dealt with it” and “moved on from it” already. Robyn said she only discussed the matter on her podcast because the woman had shared a photo of the hotel receipt that same week.

“It wasn’t relevant to where we were in that present time,” she continued.

Find out what Robyn’s fellow WWHL guest, attorney Eboni K. Williams, had to say about Robyn keeping Juan’s story off the show by watching the video above.
