Did Rhylee Gerber Just Call Tanner Sterback's Mother "an Idiot"?

One person we didn't think would come up at this season's Below Deck reunion was certainly Tanner Sterback's mother. The deckhand's mom was always so sweet and supportive when she checked in with her son throughout the season.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck on Peacock and the Bravo App.

But here we are. With Part 1 of the Below Deck Season 7 reunion set to kick off on Monday, February 10 at 8/7c, we've got a preview clip above of the chaos to come in which Tanner and Rhylee Gerber go at it over some comments Tanner's mom apparently made about Captain Lee Rosbach on social media.

So how did we get here? Well, host Andy Cohen asked Tanner what his mom thought of his behavior toward Simone Mashile this season of Below Deck. "It was never really discussed, actually, with my mother at all," Tanner said in the above sneak peek. "Everyone thinks I'm so close with her and everything like that and all these conversations and stuff."

Rhylee had something to say about that. "Well, you said you're close to your mom, and we don't think she's so involved; we think she gives you leniency towards how you treat women," Rhylee said before bringing up a post Tanner's mom wrote in a private Facebook group in which she "was very upset with how Captain Lee would attack his character on his blog," according to the Alaska native.

"This is why I have a real issue with you after the fact. You want to sit there and say I tried to f--k everybody when you are the epitome of wanting to f--k everybody. And your mother's sitting there saying, 'Shame on Captain Lee for holding you accountable for your piss-poor treatment of Simone and the women on board,'" Rhylee continued. "I say, 'Be a parent. Hold your son accountable. Don't be your son's best friend.'"

Tanner told Rhylee that he doesn't agree with her assessment of the situation. "You know nothing about my family, that's the thing. It just shows your character," he said. "Why do you have to get involved? You have nothing to do with my family."

We'll see what happens next in Part 1 of the Below Deck Season 7 reunion. Go behind the scenes of the sit-down with Andy, below.
