Craig Makes a Major Statement About Austen After His Conversation with Naomie
Here’s what Paige DeSorbo thinks Craig Conover should do in his “situation” with Austen Kroll on Southern Charm.
Things have gone from bad to worse for Craig Conover and Austen Kroll in Season 8 of Southern Charm.
The onetime BFFs kicked off the season with a major strain on their relationship, with Craig expressing that he hasn’t felt support or loyalty from Austen, and Austen feeling like Craig has been distant. And when Craig didn’t tell Austen that he had hooked up with ex Naomie Olindo during a trip to Las Vegas, Austen was upset that his close friend had kept him out of the loop.
Austen then tried to get to the bottom of this briefly rekindled romance in the June 30 episode of Southern Charm, telling Naomie some things that he said Craig had told him about their hookup. When Naomie relayed this information back to Craig at her house party, the Southern Charm-er was none too happy with Austen, to say the least.
So where do Craig and Austen go from here? Well, that’s exactly what Craig is trying to figure out in the above exclusive first look at the upcoming July 7 episode of Southern Charm.
In the clip, Craig fills girlfriend Paige DeSorbo in on what just went down with Austen and Naomie at the party. “I don’t know what to do about this, like, Austen situation,” Craig tells Paige.
Craig later says that he feels like Austen “definitely doesn’t have my back.” He even has a pretty grim outlook on the future of their friendship. “I don’t even know if I want to be friends with him anymore,” Craig says.
Paige gives Craig her honest opinion of the situation, including what she thinks her boyfriend should do next amid this drama with Austen. Meanwhile, Shep Rose recalls Craig and Austen’s conflict to John Pringle and shares what’s really “crazy” about the whole thing. Shep also weighs in on Craig and Austen’s friendship and what he’s going to do to help bridge the gap.
