Whitney Sudler-Smith "Would Rather Die" than Attend BravoCon: "He's Very Private"

At BravoCon 2022, someone was conspicuously absent from the Southern Charm panel discussion. But his mama had his back. Explaining why her son, Whitney Sudler-Smith, decided to skip the event, Patricia Altschul says in the clip above, “He’s very private.”

But even if he doesn’t love gigantic public events, there is something Whitney has a fondness for — and it all comes down to playful pot-stirring.

“[Whitney] likes to come on [the show] and make snarky comments and then leave,” Patricia says in the clip above. “He likes to kind of stir the pot and then stand back.” And it looks like Whitney’s snark streak is still going strong.

In a February 4 Instagram post, Patricia shared a photo of herself and Whitney hanging out in her famous drawing room. Both mother and son wore slightly mischievous smiles, which might explain the caption. “The snarky duo,” Patricia wrote. She added the hashtag “I don’t know where he gets it.”

Along with their scintillating conversation, the pair had some stiff drinks. In the photo, we can just make out two of Patricia’s signature gin martinis. Cheers to keeping it snarky… Southern-style.

Watch Southern Charm on Peacock and the Bravo app.
