A new season of Southern Charm is on the horizon.
The show will soon return for Season 9, and a trailer for the upcoming season dropped on August 3. The dramatic teaser highlights an argument between returning Charm-ers Madison LeCroy and Austen Kroll about the latter ex’s rumored hook-up with Taylor Ann Green.
Taylor’s potential dalliance with Austen also appears to affect her relationships with her close pal Olivia Flowers and her ex-boyfriend Shep Rose. Craig Conover, meanwhile, has other things to deal with, like attempting to figure out what his future with girlfriend Paige DeSorbo will look like. Leva Bonaparte and Venita Aspen are also coming back, and they’ll be joined in the cast by three new additions.

Who is Southern Charm Season 9 cast member Rodrigo Reyes?
The cast member may be new to Southern Charm, but he’s been friends with the rest of the crew for quite some time. According to his Bravo bio, Rodrigo helps keep the group “grounded” as a voice of reason.
The press release adds, “Rodrigo is an interior designer in a long-term relationship with boyfriend Tyler. He has been friends with the Charm-ers for many years and helps to keep them grounded.”
Unlike castmates Taylor, Shep, Austen, Olivia, Jarrett, and Rod, Rodrigo is currently in a committed relationship. He’s been dating his boyfriend, Tyler, for eight years. The pair celebrated their anniversary on July 4.
“[Eight] years, multiple trips around the world and [four] dogs later… Happy Anniversary my love,” Rodrigo wrote in an Instagram tribute to his beau on their dating anniversary.

When he’s not stirring things up with the Southern Charm crew, Rodrigo works as an interior decorator and floral designer. He features his work on his secondary Instagram account, @iamrardesigns.
