Stassi Schroeder's Update on Her Relationship with Her Mom Has the Vanderpump Rules Cast in Tears

When Stassi Schroeder's mom, Dayna Schroeder, came to visit her daughter in Los Angeles this season of Vanderpump Rules, it would turn out to be one of the last times the two would talk for a while. Stassi previously revealed during the Vanderpump Rules Season 7 After Show that she stopped speaking to her mom after she told her to not be herself because she would mess up her relationship with boyfriend Beau Clark (clip above).

Stassi then explained what was going through her mind in that moment during Part 3 of the Vanderpump Rules Season 7 reunion Monday night. "It really sticks with you where I'm thinking that I have something totally wrong with me, like why is my mom saying don't be yourself?" she told Andy Cohen. "That's the worst advice." 

But this is one instance where Vanderpump Rules drama has a happy ending. Stassi said during the reunion that, after not speaking for eight months, she and her mom reconnected at her sister Georgianna Aubin's bridal shower in March. "We finally talked, and she apologized for everything and took responsibility and ownership for everything. And we both cried. And it was awesome," Stassi shared. "And I'm really happy about it because I've really missed my mom, so that was really, really nice."

Dayna has been sharing the sweetest photos of herself and Stassi on Instagram recently, including one from their reunion at Georgianna's bridal shower.

Dayna also took to Instagram to show her love for Stassi after that "debacle" on Vanderpump Rules earlier this season. "Nastassia [Stassi's real name] knows how much I love her and how I think she is the most confident, smart, witty, kindhearted, loving girl," she wrote in a post in January. "I am so proud of her and all of her accomplishments!"

She also apologized for her comments to Stassi. "But ya'll have no idea how loving and close of a family we are. Including Beau and the girls and their wonderful mothers," Dayna shared in the post. "I'm very sorry if I offended anyone in our group that day."
