Stassi Schroeder Sticks Up For Meghan Markle Amid "Megxit" News: “Let Her Live”
The Vanderpump Rules cast member is a self-proclaimed "stan" of the Duchess of Sussex.
As news of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s reported exodus from the royal family continues to dominate headlines, Stassi Schroeder is speaking out in support of the Duchess of Sussex. The Vanderpump Rules cast member — who calls herself a Markle “stan” — defended the former actress-turned-royal on Instagram this week.
In a post dated January 11, Stassi shared a photo of herself blowing a kiss to a framed photo of Markle as it hangs next to a slew of other celebrity pictures on a nearby wall. The podcast host revealed her thoughts on the royal situation — which the media has dubbed “Megxit” — in the caption, making it clear that she’s definitely on Team Markle.
“Just let her live!” Stassi wrote alongside the photo in response to the news, also adding, “I stan you, Meghan.”
Stassi isn’t the only Bravoleb to jump into the controversy surrounding Markle and Prince Harry’s decision to “step back” from their roles as senior members of the royal family. Andy Cohen has since extended an invite to Markle to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Meanwhile, Bethenny Frankel and Luann de Lesseps of The Real Housewives of New York City have both voiced their support for Markle and Prince Harry, as has Southern Charm’s Cameran Eubanks. And let’s not forget that Below Deck’s Kate Chastain practically coined the term “Megxit” over a year ago.
Clearly, Stassi isn’t the only Markle stan in the Bravo family!
