Ciara Shares an Update on Her Friendship with Gabby & Reveals Why She Didn’t Give Chris Leoni a Chance

After her love triangle with Austen Kroll and Lindsay Hubbard threatened to ruin her experience in the Hamptons last summer, Ciara Miller wasn’t messing around with any sticky romantic situations on Summer House Season 7.

When Season 7 newbie Chris Leoni appeared to take an interest in her (by asking the registered nurse if she could give him mouth-to-mouth CPR if need be, and later by licking her foot), Ciara failed to reciprocate — but not for the reason fans may expect. 

“Chris is really sweet,” Ciara said on the April 10 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “Like, I actually really enjoyed getting to know Chris. But, to be fair, I couldn’t really tell who he was into this summer. It’s not like it was clear as day.”

Ciara and Chris may have missed each other thanks to mixed signals, but is the model interested in getting to know any other male Bravolebrities?

“Can I get a break?” she joked on WWHL before referencing her past entanglement with Austen. “I would love a break. I just got done with one.”

Ciara’s romantic life wasn’t the only topic that got her in the hot seat during her time on WWHL. Host Andy Cohen later asked why it was so hard for her to connect with one of the other new additions, Gabby Prescod.

In case you need a refresher, Ciara and Mya Allen had a private conversation in the house about how they felt like Gabby was a “surface-level” person. When Ciara shared that feeling with Gabby at the girls’ group dinner, Gabby responded by saying that Ciara herself seemed “very guarded” and like she was trying to “stick” to her already-established friendships.

Ciara clarified why she called Gabby “surface-level” during WWHL.

“I think my issue with Gabby was that we tried to have conversations and stuff, and it just felt like everything was so surface-level, or about money, or about looks, and it was just like, 'OK, girl. What else?’” Ciara explained. “I was just trying to break through and get a little bit deeper with her.”

Fellow guest Paige DeSorbo, who is friends with both ladies, shed some light on the situation as well.

“I don’t think it’s really that deep,” Paige said. “They’re fine. I think they just missed each other a little. I think they’ll be fine.”
