Carl Radke Has Some Thoughts on Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover's Relationship

We'll see how Paige DeSorbo's relationship with Craig Conover develops this season of Summer House, but there's one guy who knows all too well what it takes to woo the fashionista.

Carl Radke previously vied for the attention of Paige in Summer House seasons past. But when he failed to follow up on their weekend makeout seshes in the Hamptons when they were back in New York City during the week, their fling fizzled out, and they ultimately decided to just be friends.

So, when Carl appeared on the January 17 Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show, along with his Summer House-mate Kyle Cooke, one member of the virtual audience wanted to know what advice he had for Craig in order to have a more successful relationship with Paige. "I would definitely make sure he has plans," Carl, who is currently dating his Summer House castmate Lindsay Hubbard, said. "I know Paige likes to do dinners and travel and things, which seems like they're already doing really well."

Kyle added that Craig should "call and text during the week," seemingly referring to Carl's failure to do so when he pursued Paige in the past.

However, Carl said that Paige living in NYC and Craig being based in Charleston may eventually lead to some challenges for the couple. "But the next thing is they've got to be in the same city," Carl noted. "I mean, this long distance thing isn't gonna work out."

Even though Andy Cohen cited the old adage "absence makes the heart grow fonder" and argued that Craig's life in Charleston, including his pillow empire, may all seem "very glamorous" to Paige, Carl said that he believes her heart will always be in New York. "But Paige is a New York girl, her family's very important to her," he said. "So I would make sure, Craig, if you're really wanting Paige, you've got to make sure you take care of the parents, too."

Kyle chimed in, "Craig, are you listening?"

The long distance hasn't seemed to be an issue for Paige and Craig so far. In fact, when Paige first confirmed the relationship in an interview with Us Weekly in October, she said that she and Craig have really embraced the long distance lifestyle. “We actually love long-distance. We’re two people that are very independent and have so much going on during the week,” she told the publication at the time. “When we get, like, Monday through Friday to get all of our things done and then I hop on a plane Friday morning, it’s fun. I feel like we’re more present with each other when we are together. We’re not on our phones and we plan and do fun things.”

The couple have also already gotten to know each other's families, visiting Craig's family in Delaware and Paige's parents in Albany, New York for Thanksgiving. Craig later said that meeting Paige's fam was "amazing." "I love her parents. They're actually really similar to mine," Craig gushed in his Instagram Stories in November. "And I think I'm invited back, so I can't wait to go back to Albany."
