The Summer House cast share their feelings on Season 8 reunion
“You know, I’m actually excited,” Lindsay shared, adding, “I am excited to get this day over with.”
Danielle expressed similar sentiments by noting she was “excited to just put it all out there and then just move forward" with the cast.
When it was time for Gabby to reveal her thoughts on the Season 8 reunion, she mentioned that she was “ready to address some things” because “there’s a lot that was said that needs to have responses.”
As for Carl, Kyle, and West, the trio agreed that they felt good about this year’s showdown. In fact, West was so calm about filming his first reunion that he literally woke up and “showed up with [his] hood on, AirPods in" at the studio.
Paige, on the other hand, wasn’t thrilled about what was about to happen, as she stated that she “hate[s] reunion day.” Amanda also isn’t a fan of the experience, revealing that she “always feel[s] very anxious” before reunion tapings since things usually are “tense” between everyone.
The Summer House cast set the record straight about their personal lives
Over the season, the housemates weighed in on all the drama when they appeared on the Summer House After Show, but backstage at the Season 8 reunion, they seized the opportunity to set the record straight on anything they didn't get to speak on.
Lindsay, in her own right, said, "Oh, there's a lot of records that will be set straight today – a lot. There's a lot of lies told this season, not by me, and there will be a lot of truth told at the reunion by me."
Danielle shared that she wanted to improve her relationship with Gabby following their misunderstanding in Season 8, Episode 10. "I would say stuff with some of the girls, like situations with Gabby," she shared. "The alien party night, like how that all went down, I would love us to just kind of be on the same page and just get past it."
As for Carl, he just wanted to reiterate that he “didn’t set [Lindsay] up to premeditate and end the relationship.” He added: “I didn’t want to hurt someone I cared about and loved, but I feel like it was the best decision for me, and I think it’s the best decision for her too.”
Paige also cleared the air on Danielle’s previous comment about her giving Craig “nothing” in their relationship. “I give Craig everything – it’s actually draining me.”
The Summer House cast reflects on Season 8
This season was full of shocking moments and lots of self-growth for the Summer House cast. So, backstage at the Season 8 reunion, we asked Lindsay, Carl, and West what advice they would give themselves at the start of the season, knowing what they know now.
Finding power from within, Lindsay explained that she doesn’t regret anything she did last summer. “I don’t know, everything was held and kept from me, to begin with,” she began, adding, “I was always left in the dark, like I get that I know that now, but I wouldn’t have changed it [be]cause I’m thankful for where I’m at now."
Carl also admitted that he stands by everything that happened between him and Lindsay in 2023. "That's just life. I mean, I try not to have regrets... There are some – a lot of things that I can smile about and look back on... so I don't take that for granted."
West concluded things by revealing the advice that he always remembers. “Anytime you have a heart-to-heart with someone usually you feel pretty good after you have that, and you feel cleansed and like you can move forward, and I was told, that’s how to look at today, and it’s a chance to like move forward in a clean space, so like that sounds nice to me,” he said.
