Following a tense season of difficult discussions about work and relationships, Carl Radke and Kyle Cooke made a promise to get back to a better place in their friendship on the Summer House Season 7 reunion

How to Watch

"I love you man," Carl told Kyle on Part 2 of the reunion, which aired on June 5. "That will never, never change."

Now that the pals are back on track in their friendship, could Kyle be taking on a major role in Carl's upcoming November wedding to Lindsay Hubbard? Find out what the Loverboy Founder and CEO had to say about the nuptials by scrolling below.

Kyle's role at the wedding

When Kyle married Amanda Batula in September 2021 (their wedding was featured on the Summer House Season 6 finale), Carl stepped in as both the officiant of the ceremony, and as the best man.

Back in February, when Kyle chatted with The Daily Dish, he shared that he wanted to be involved in the big day.

“I mean, look, I hope I have an opportunity to be in the wedding party and potentially [to be] a best man or co–best man or whatever,” Kyle said. “But at the end of the day, things evolve.”

Fast-forward to after the Season 7 reunion taping, and Kyle had a different perspective on his potential role in the festivities. During an interview with PEOPLE, Kyle revealed that he has received an invitation to Carl's bachelor party, but that he doesn't think he'll be on the altar in any capacity at the wedding itself in November.

"I told Carl I don't expect to him to reciprocate the offer to officiate," Cooke said. "I'm like, 'It's a lot of pressure.' I feel like I'm pretty verbose. They need someone who can be concise."

"Carl was a very important person in both of our lives," Amanda added to PEOPLE about why Kyle may not be the right fit to officiate before she addressed her husband. "I don't think you are that important of a person in Lindsay's life."

Carl and Lindsay's wedding plans

As Carl himself has previously teased, a different Bravolebrity could be taking on the role of officiant at the ceremony.

During a March episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, which was in honor of Captain Lee Rosbach celebrating a decade on Below Deck, Carl confirmed that he wanted the yachtie to be involved in his wedding.

“I’m happy to report… we’re locked in with a venue. It’s going to be Mexico," Carl said about the update on his wedding plans. "We're still working out some of the logistics, but we’re going to have a conversation with Captain Lee."

Now that Carl and Lindsay are finalizing the details of their wedding, they can relate to Kyle and Amanda in new ways.

"From a few conversations we've had with Carl, he keeps telling us about how much more respect he has for us now,” Amanda told PEOPLE. "He's like, 'I give you guys so much credit. I've shed some tears over this stuff.' I'm like, 'I get it.'"

Kyle noted that his best friend is feeling the pressure amid wedding planning.

"He's stressing. I'm like, ‘Wait, aren't you looking at a turnkey resort [for the wedding]?’" Kyle said. "I remember, back in the day, talking to the caterer, like, ‘We have to build a kitchen in Amanda's backyard?!'"

Kyle may not exactly be certain about what sort of participation he'll have in Carl and Lindsay's November nuptials, but it's clear that the two friends have put in some work on their friendship since last summer ended.
