Will Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke Get a Prenup?
The Summer House couple reveals if they have any plans to ink an agreement before tying the knot later this year.
Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke are apparently ready to say "I do" ... to a prenuptial agreement.
During a red carpet interview at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards, the Summer House couple was asked if they planned to sign a marital contract before legally tying the knot. Linsday confirmed to E! News she is a "big fan of prenups"—something she indicated during the Summer House season 6 reunion.
"I think that it's a good protection for both of us, individually," she said. "Because listen, as much as you hope and dream that forever is a thing — and that's what I hope for the both of us, and I think [Carl] does too — you never know what can happen."
Lindsay underscored her point by mentioning Vanderpump Rules' Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix, who recently called it quits after nearly 10 years of dating.
Lindsay and Carl announced their relationship in early 2022 and confirmed their engagement about seven months later. Carl popped the big question at Southhampton's Dune Beach, after convincing Lindsay they were going to a bonfire. Once they made their way to the sand, Lindsay was greeted by several signs that featured messages like, "Best Friends" and "7 Years," which was a reference to how long they've known each other.
"He said, 'Will you marry me?' and I said, 'A thousand times, yes!'" Lindsay recalled during an interview with PEOPLE magazine. "And he said, 'Hold on, let me get the ring' and I was like, 'I don't care! When should we get married? Now? I'm ready!'"
During a March 27 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Carl revealed they had already booked a venue for their destination wedding, which is scheduled for the fall.
"I’m happy to report… we’re locked in with a venue. It’s going to be Mexico,” he said, adding Below Deck's Captain Lee Rosbach may officiate the ceremony. "We’re still working out some of the logistics," Carl told the host, "but we’re going to have a conversation with Captain Lee."
