On October 2, Teddi shared an adorable photo of Dove flashing a big grin while wearing a striped outfit and a matching blue bow on her head. “Mom mentioned many of you asking for an update, so I wanted to log on and let you all know I am one tough cookie,” the caption alongside the sweet snapshot reads. “It’s been two and a half months since my surgery and I am feeling good!”

Teddi also went on to reveal the next step in her daughter's recovery process, explaining that Dove will have to wear a helmet for several months.

“Today is the day I get my helmet, so I figured I’d throw on a bow one last time before I rock that new style for the next six months!" she wrote. "Thanks for all the well wishes and love sent my way. It’s much appreciated.”

Teddi revealed that Dove had been diagnosed with Lambdoid Craniosynostosis in early July and confirmed that her baby had completed the necessary corrective procedure several weeks later.

“Thank you for all your prayers. Baby Dove had a successful surgery,” she wrote on Instagram on July 31. “So much gratitude to her amazing surgeons Dr. Danielpour and Dr. Urata and all the loving nurses that will continue to help us care for her as she recovers. We are forever grateful.”
