Teresa Giudice: I Choose to Stay Positive
The RHONJ star insists she's "not in denial" about the charges.
After speaking out for the first time about her ongoing legal issues on a special episode of Watch What Happens Live, during what she calls an "intense" interview with Andy Cohen, Teresa Giudice is again opening up about her troubles—this time on her Bravo blog.
On WWHL, Teresa pleaded with her Real Housewives of New Jersey castmates to be respectful as she and husband Joe Giudice prepare for their February trial on federal fraud charges. Now, she's asking her fans to withhold judgment.
"It is aggravating to not be able to speak freely about everything. When this is all over, we will!" Teresa writes. "As Joe said, we pleaded not guilty for a reason. Thank you all so much for your support and for withholding judgment until the trial is over."
But Teresa admits her legal woes are taking their toll. "I'm not in denial about it, I know it's serious and terrible, and I wouldn't wish this situation on anyone," she writes. "It can suck your soul dry faster than almost anything else. But I choose to stay positive."
She admits she had to try to keep it together for her family. "Especially being a mom, I can't fall apart. I have four little girls looking at me to see how to handle bad times," she shares. "I want to set a good example for them because life involves bad times. You have to know how to cope and not to crumble."
