Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga's Kids Hold a Beautiful Memorial for Their Late Nonno
The Real Housewives of New Jersey family did something truly special to honor Giacinto Gorga.
Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga's children have come together to pay tribute to their late grandfather, Giacinto Gorga, who was lovingly referred to as Nonno, following his passing on April 3.
The family held an outdoor memorial for Nonno, which was captured by his loved ones on Instagram, on Tuesday, April 7. Teresa's daughters (Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana) and Melissa's kids (Antonia, Gino, and Joey), all clad in black, gathered around a table with two white boxes covered in blue and white flowers, according to a video shared by the family on Instagram. Nonno's grandchildren then lifted the lids on the containers to release three white doves into the air as the song "Con Te Partirò" by Andrea Bocelli played over a loudspeaker.
"Today we set you free, fly high to mommy," Teresa wrote of the moment on Instagram, a sentiment that was also echoed by her brother, Joe Gorga, and her eldest daughter, Gia, on social media.
Melissa described the scene on Instagram: "The beautiful Grandchildren watching the doves fly into the heavens in honor of their Nonno."
The gesture was reminiscent of the family's tribute to Teresa's mother, Antonia Gorga, when they released white balloons into the air at her funeral in March 2017.
Giacinto passed away on the morning of April 3. He was 76 years old.
Since then, tributes have been pouring in for Giacinto, who was not only beloved by his family but also by all fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
