Did Dina Manzo Keep in Touch with Teresa Giudice During Her Prison Stay?

Girls just wanna have fun, and that's the philosophy Dina Manzo kept in mind during her longtime pal Teresa Giudice's 11-month prison stay back in 2015. The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum opened up about communicating with Teresa while she was at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Conn. and dished a bit about what the two ladies discussed while she was away.  

"We kept in touch via email, like daily," Dina told E! News. "As a matter of fact in some odd way I think it brought us closer because not many people had email access to her. I was one of the chosen ones."

Dina said that instead of focusing on anything deep, their emails were "total girl talk." Dina had been checking in on the Giudices while Teresa was away and offering up the RHONJ mom some updates. "She was telling me about her exercise and checking in because I was seeing Audriana and Joe [Giudice] a lot. We didn't get deep," she said. "It was just keeping it light and moving her right through it."

Back in February, The Daily Dish caught up with Teresa at the book party for her bestselling memoir, Turning the Tables, where she revealed that she'd love the chance to welcome Dina back to the show at some point. "I love her. She's one of my best friends. She's my daughter's godmother. I just love her," Teresa said, before teasing what fans should expect when Season 7 premieres later this year. "Everyone's going to really love this season. You're gonna have women that support each other, that lift each other up. I think that's what life's all about. I think we should all do that."
