After Luis "Louie" Ruelas popped the question to Teresa Giudice while on vacation in Greece last month, The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple received an outpouring of congratulations from fans and members of the Bravo family alike.

But, of course, the opinions that matter most are those of Teresa's four daughters: Gia, 20, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 15, and Audriana, 12. Now we finally know how the RHONJ kids feel about their mom getting remarried.

Teresa dished all about her engagement during a recent interview with Extra, and she revealed that her daughters actually knew that Louie was going to propose. "My daughters were involved in it," she said.

In fact, they're already one big, happy, blended family. "We live together. Gia's at college, and his son lives with us. He has two sons. His 17-year-old son lives with us. His other son lives with his ex-wife," Teresa told Extra, before sharing that her daughters have gotten to know and love Louie since the couple began dating in July 2020. "It's been, like, 15 months now. They love Louie. He's so great to them. He really is. Like, I'm so lucky to have him."

Louie has also met Teresa's ex-husband, Joe Giudice, with whom she finalized her divorce in 2020 after 20 years of marriage. Teresa explained to Extra that they had to pick Audriana up from visiting Joe in the Bahamas and bring her back to the United States for a dance competition. Louie accompanied Teresa on the trip and decided on his own to reach out to Joe to see if they could meet.

"Louie DM'd Joe and said, 'Since we're coming out there, can we all have dinner?' And I didn't know he did that, and he told me, I was like, 'What?'" Teresa recalled. "The reason why he did it was for my daughters. And you know what, you know who it made so happy at the end? My daughters. They were so happy. And they met, and they got along great."

Though Teresa admitted that she was a little nervous about Joe and Louie meeting at first, it thankfully ended up "not really" being awkward. "Joe was, like, a little quiet, but then he warmed up," she said. "Louie's very friendly, and he made it comfortable for him, and it was all good."

As for when Teresa and Louie will officially tie the knot, she said that they haven't decided yet. "It just happened. I'm still enjoying it," Teresa shared. "I figure it has to be when the kids are not in school."

However, there is one detail of Teresa's future nuptials that's already set. "It's definitely gonna be destination," she told Extra.

Speaking of destinations, we'll see Teresa embark on the grandest getaway ever in The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, the first three episodes of which are (surprise!) streaming now on Peacock. New episodes will be available every Thursday.

Get a sneak peek at the new Peacock series, below, which was first shared exclusively with Bravo Insider members during the Season of Getting. In it, you'll see how Teresa prepped for the trip, including the super sweet gift Louie gave her before this vacation of a lifetime.
