What Did Catherine Cooper Think of Thomas Ravenel's Relationship Advice?

Catherine Cooper made an unexpected connection when the Southern Charm and Southern Charm Savannah crews met up in Charlotte as they sought refuge from Hurricane Matthew. Though Catherine and Lyle Mackenzie previously met Shep Rose and Landon Clements (who was not with the Southern Charm crew in Charlotte) at a mutual friend's wedding, it was Thomas Ravenel who shared a heart-to-heart with the Southern Charm Savannah pal. 

Of course, the moment caught Catherine off-guard, but not as much as some other people. "So I think that my conversation with T-Rav was more surprising to the production team, because all of a sudden they were like, 'Oh my gosh, after four years, we have not heard Thomas open up like that,' this, that, and the other," she recently told The Daily Dish.

Considering Thomas' past difficulties in the love department, Catherine admitted that she's a little hesitant to take the Southern Charm gent's advice on her relationship with Lyle. "So we’re just sitting here, having a conversation, and it was just flowing so easily, and he was offering me relationship advice, which I don’t know if that’s the best to take from him because, you know, he’s had some moments in his past that [I] wouldn’t necessarily want to take advice from that," she explained. "But, it was a good conversation. We were in a bowling alley and, there were other parts to it, but I think that we kind of have similar backgrounds and expectations so, we just kind of clicked. It was fun."

When it comes to returning the favor and offering up some relationship advice to Thomas, Catherine said that she doesn't "know that much about his personal life, to probably comment on it," but she's confident that he will one day find someone special. "But I feel like he’s a good guy. He seems like he’s very nice and has a genuine soul, so I’m sure the right person will come around. And love him for who he is," Catherine said. "I don’t really know who that is, but I’m sure there’s someone out there for everybody."

Catherine is also only hoping for the best when it comes to T-Rav's relationship with Kathryn C. Dennis in the future, who she said is "gorgeous," "seemed so down-to-earth," and had a "very calm" and "very mature" demeanor when she watched her from the audience on Monday night's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "So I’m hoping that whatever their issues are — I mean, considering they have two children — that they can work that out because I think at the end of the day, that’s the most important thing," Catherine said.
