Tinsley Mortimer Officially Leaves NYC to Be with Scott Kluth: "So Much Has Happened So Fast"
The RHONY cast member celebrated reconciling with Scott by moving to Chicago.
Tinsley Mortimer made one thing clear earlier this season on The Real Housewives of New York City: "In the end of the day, I want to be with Scott. That's what I want."
Well, Tinsley's wish came true during the June 11 episode of RHONY.
Viewers literally watched as Tinsley packed up her hotel room and made the change from the mean streets of NYC to the windy streets of Chicago to be with Scott Kluth, her on and off (and now definitely on) boyfriend of several years after spending most of their romance in a long-distance relationship. The pair had reconciled shortly before deciding to live together.
"With Scott, so much has happened so fast," she said in an interview in the episode. "But I know that if I don't take this moment right now, I'll regret it for the rest of my life. And I have to listen to myself and what I want and nobody else."
The June 11 RHONY episode took place around Halloween. Tinsley confirmed they had reconciled on Instagram in late October 2019, and she also confirmed they were "100 percent" back together to the RHONY group at dinner.
She later got her blessing from some of the ladies over drinks on a separate outing. Tinsley also celebrated the move with some of her co-stars and her mom, a teary-eyed and happy Dale Mercer, over champagne.
"I have changed so much since coming back to New York and moving into Sonja's townhouse. I mean, I had thought that coming back to New York was immediately going to trigger me back to the old Tinsley that lived in New York. It's taken me a little bit of time, but I finally feel like myself again. I feel confident again. I don't think any of it would have happened without all the little bumps along the way," she reflected in the episode.
"Thank you, mugshot. Thank you, Sonja [Morgan]. Thank you, townhouse. Thank you, everybody else along the way. And it's been a great ride. And I'm just so happy for where I am right now and so excited for my future."
By November Scott had proposed and, now, the couple, who met during Season 9, are figuring out their wedding plans.
So, we guess Tinsley was onto something with her Season 12 tagline:
