How Todd Tucker Is Making a Difference for His Children and His Community
Kandi Burruss' husband wants dads to "use your power" to shape a better future.
Todd Tucker spent part of his Father's Day sharing an important message during the Moment of Mazel on Sunday's (June 21) Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home. Appearing with his two youngest kids, Ace and Blaze, The Real Housewives of Atlanta dad shared how he is making a difference for his kids, future generations, and his community.
The inspiring message comes weeks after he took to Instagram to open up about how he's explaining race and police brutality to his son in the wake of protests in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
"I'm gonna start out by saying Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers out there. It's our day. Make sure you enjoy your Father's Day. But as being a Black father today in America, I'm challenging everyone to make their voices heard, to make a change, to make a change in your community, to make a change to erase racism," Kandi Burruss' husband shared in the video message on WWHL: @ Home. "I'm gonna start out by registering a million men to vote. I'm gonna live within my community. I'm gonna inspire. I'm gonna create jobs. I'm gonna create opportunities. And I challenge everybody out there to play their part, to do what they have to do to end what's happening, because do we want our kids to grow up to have to witness what's going on right now and even possibly be victims of what's going on? So let's make change. Let's end it. Play your part; use your power."
Over Juneteenth and Father's Day weekend, Todd shared new photos of himself with his family that put the emphasis on how important they are to him.
"Family is forever! I love my kids so much! [Blaze, Ace, Riley and Kaela] and my amazing wife! [Kandi] thank you for the best Father’s Day!" he wrote on Instagram.
