Here's How Todd Tucker & His Kids Celebrated Halloween Weekend Without Kandi
The RHOA husband hosted an indoor pool party while his wife, Kandi Burruss, was out of town for work.
Todd Tucker may have started a family tradition.
On Saturday, October 28, The Real Housewives of Atlanta dad hosted a fun-filled get-together for his 7-year-old son Ace, and 3-year-old daughter Blaze, whom he shares with his wife of nine years, Kandi Burruss. The event was, of course, Halloween-themed and took place at the family’s beautiful Atlanta abode — specifically their indoor pool area.
Todd confirmed he was hosting the event solo, as Kandi was out of town for a music gig.
“Kandi had to go to do a show in Baltimore with xscape,” he captioned the Instagram video, “so Daddy Daycare decided to throw [Ace] and [Blaze] a Halloween kick back! It’s about to be lit!!! Lol! Kandi come home I need your help lol!”

Todd began the video by showing off some of the Halloween decorations, which included illuminated ghost figurines, a festive banner, and several strobe lights placed around the pool. He also showed off some of the beverages and snacks he purchased for the party as well as the large-screen TVs that were playing cartoons.
“We got Ace and Blaze's first annual Halloween kickback,” he said in the clip, while providing a quick tour of the space. “We chillin’, you know daddy threw this together. I got my cooler with my drinks. Let me see what we got here: We got water, Sprites, Capri Suns. We doin’ it. Last-minute put-together. Daddy daycare, got it popping… We’re just waiting for the guests to arrive so we can get lit, turn up.”

Todd then turned the camera toward Ace and Blaze who were already enjoying the pool.
“Ace Boogie doing something down there,” the dad said, before both of his kids shouted, “Happy Halloween!”
The post received more than 17,000 “likes” and hundreds of comments, including one from Kandi: “I’m glad this kick back was a success!” she wrote. “Our babies are happy. Great job daddy!”

Kandi has remained quite busy expanding her and family’s business empire, which includes everything from stage productions and film projects to restaurants and podcasts. The Atlanta mom is now gearing up to attend BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas, where she is expected to participate in the “Viva Las Atlanta Peaches” panel. The event will also feature RHOA’s Marlo Hampton,Kenya Moore, Shereé Whitfield, and;Sanya Richards-Ross, who will dish on a wide range of topics, including where they stand after the events of RHOA Season 15.
