Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules has certainly been a bumpy ride for Jax Taylor and Tom Sandoval’s friendship. From nearly disinviting Sandoval from his wedding to reinstating him as the best man, these two have had plenty of ups and downs. So where do they stand now?

On the March 21 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home, Jax said he has “zero interest” in speaking to Sandoval, and in an earlier interview, admitted that he regrets even allowing him back into his wedding party. But now, Sandoval is opening up about his side of the situation. In an interview with The Daily Dish podcast, he shared some more insight on his relationship with Jax.

"Jax and I obviously went through a rough patch leading up to the wedding, and then afterwards, we were totally fine,” Sandoval revealed. “I even hung out at Brittany’s dad’s house after the wedding. Like, we just kicked it and then we were really tight. When he got back home, we were hanging out.”

But then, when the episodes began to air, things changed.

“Once the season started, he [was] just relentlessly, relentlessly going after me on social media. And then, I’d see him at like, Tom Tom the next day. He’d come in and be like ‘What’s up dude?’ and like, high five me, and I’m just like, ‘Okay,” said Sandoval. “It was relentless. And then it kept going and then finally, I’m just like, ‘Dude, no. Like, you’re not gonna do this.’”

Sandoval went on to say, “I think it’s sad, and I think it’s gross. Like, you know, Jax’s wedding episode airing, which should be like, the happiest moment of his life, and instead, there’s like, six tweets about me.” He continued, “It’s just like, dude, if you don’t like me, why would you even be talking about me? Don’t even talk about me. Talk about your wedding. Talk about how fun it was.”

When asked how he felt about the fact that Jax didn’t want to dress up for Sandoval’s party, but then had a themed birthday of his own, he said, “I had no idea that Jax is like, being such a fricking hater, you know what I mean? I had no idea. I mean, I’m just like, dude, what is your deal?
