Ariana Madix Teases She’s Working on “Something Cool”
The Vanderpump Rules cast member has been keeping very, very busy.
We have an arresting update from Ariana Madix on what she’s up to these days. The Vanderpump Rules cast member posted a close-up selfie to her Instagram Stories and captioned it “something cool,” and also teased that she’s on set — and we think we know what she’s talking about.
While she didn’t confirm where and why she took the photo, it does look like she’s wearing a uniform, which actually ties into her next big project. As previously reported, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Ariana will appear in a Lifetime movie with the working title Buying Back My Daughter. The project also stars Meagan Good, and the movie’s plot centers on a couple searching for their 16-year-old daughter who’s gone missing. Ariana plays Karen, a police officer who assists with the case and has a personal interest in it. The film delves into topics such as human sex trafficking and is part of the network’s “Ripped from the Headlines” series.
In addition to acting, Ariana is also busy getting her other big project off the ground — a sandwich shop called Something About Her, which she’s working on with Katie Maloney. (She posted a link to some of the merch the pair launched for the eatery, and it appears there is more Ariana-themed merch to come, which she dubbed “exciting”).
Ariana also recently released a statement thanking everyone for their support following some changes in her personal life.
Following her recent breakup, she posted a message to Instagram: “I want to express my most sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love and support i have received from friends, family, and people I’ve never even met in the last two weeks. When I have felt like I couldn’t even stand, you all have given me the strength to continue and seen me through my darkest hours.”
“To say I have been devastated and broken is an understatement,” she continued. “However, I know that I am not in this alone. So many of my closest friends are also grieving this loss right now and reeling from this betrayal on so many levels. I am so f--king lucky to have the best support system in the world and I hope I can repay every single person for the love you have shown me...What doesn’t kill me better run.”
Ariana also recently sat down with Vanderpump Rules co-executive producer James Markham, and together they reflected on the series, the cast, and the first time they met each other, as well as his “unique relationship” with the cast.
