However, the former SURver is now taking a brief break from sharing the latest in her busy life to focus the spotlight on someone who’s the brain behind some of the shocking moments seen on the series.

In the clip above, Lala recently sat down with Vanderpump Rules' Editor, Jesse Friedman, for an exclusive interview with BravoTV.com, where he reflected on three things "three things that happened off camera" during Season 10 and spilled details on a “real” moment that made Lala cry.

Jesse revealed that Season 10 was the “best” one he’s ever worked on. In fact, the editor confessed the details of what led to Tom Sandoval's split with Ariana Madix

“Basically, we had three things that happened off camera that were the things that set everything in motion,” Jesse explained.

A Vanderpump Rules editor discusses Lala Kent’s “hottest mess season”

At the start of their discussion, Lala asked Jesse how it felt having the show nominated for an Emmy. “I mean, I think you guys have been putting it all out there for many years… and I feel incredibly grateful to be put into that conversation,” he said.

The VPR insider continued on to reveal that he began working on the series in Season 7, which Lala declared her “hottest mess season.” You can hear Lala explain why and see what Jesse remembered about her from that time by watching the clip above.

Lala Kent gets “emotional” with a Vanderpump Rules editor

While Jesse was praised for his editing skills on the last season of Vanderpump Rules, he clarified that his “best” work is when he lets “raw” moments play out. More specifically, he was referencing to the moment when Lala was having an “emotional” breakdown about the passing of her dad.

“As an editor, I think in moments like that, to be able to know when not to edit and let something breathe because it's real and because somebody is expressing how they feel is a powerful thing,” he shared.

Jesse’s words immediately made Lala tear up, and she even expressed why she was grateful for filming that "emotional" scene. Let her explain by pressing play on the clip above.
