Scheana and Lala Reveal the “Random” Things Tom Sandoval Gifted Them: “Hit Me Where I’m Sensitive”

After Tom Sandoval gifted James Kennedy designer sunglasses on Season 11, Episode 7 of Vanderpump Rules, Lala Kent and Scheana Shay are sharing details about their own unexpected gifts from Tom. 

In the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 After Show video above, a producer asked Scheana and Lala if they had recently received presents from Tom. 

"The kids did [get gifts], and Ocean loved her gift," Lala said, referring to her daughter and Scheana's daughter, Summer Moon. "He just gave her these, like, building blocks. They were super cute and colorful. Ocean was really into them. I thought it was kind. But then I go to, like, of course, you hit me where I'm the most sensitive, give the kid the gift."

Clarifying that the gift was not for Ocean's birthday or any special occasion, but rather "just a random, 'Here you go, here's a gift for Ocean'" exchange, Lala later declared, "I'm like, 'OK, I know the game you're playing. This seems very familiar, but hey, I'll take the gift...Thank you, but I'm seeing through this."

As for what Tom gifted Summer, Scheana explained, "It was this interactive map where you push it, and it tells you the country and all of the things." To that, Lala quipped, "I think I could use that actually."

James Kennedy reacts to the sunglasses from Tom Sandoval 

In the video above, James explained that the moment Tom gave him the sunglasses during the episode, which aired on March 12, was one he will "never forget." 

"He takes them slowly off his head, gives them a 10-second stare, he gives them a farewell if you will," James recalled. "He probably spent, like, 500 bucks on them that afternoon...It was, like, a nice thought."

James also suggested the sunglasses were a "peace offering" and a way to "break the ice" between them. 

"I don't know what he's trying to do," he added. "Maybe he just wanted a good night."
