Does Lala Kent Have a New Boyfriend? She Says…
The Vanderpump Rules cast member spilled all the tea on a special someone she “might be in love with.”
Lala Kent is fully back on the dating scene following her split from her ex-fiancé, Randall Emmett, last October, and now she’s spilling all the tea. During an October 7 appearance on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, the Vanderpump Rules mom even revealed a recent love-at-first-sight experience.
After host Jeff Lewis asked if she was dating, Lala replied, “No, but I think I might be in love with someone,” joking that she didn’t know “how that happened.” Wait, what?!
Letting out an audible gasp, co-host Mercedes “MJ” Javid insisted she tell them everything about the mystery man. “My friend’s been trying to hook me up with him for a long time, and we finally met,” Lala explained, adding that they’d only hung out three times, but “had a lot of fun.” When Jeff asked what “a lot of fun” meant exactly, she replied, “What do you think it means?” before insisting she was “totally kidding.”
“I saw him very quickly and I was just like, ‘Oh my god. The face…” she recalled. “When the face hits right, it’s like game over.”
Luckily, Jeff and MJ were able to get Lala to offer a few more deets, including that the mystery man is “totally” age appropriate at 38 years old, and yes, he also has a job. “I love his brain,” she told the Shahs of Sunset cast member. “He’s very smart. His face doesn’t match what comes out of his mouth… He’s a unicorn. I’m gonna need to, like, have his baby or something.”
Though that prompted Jeff to tell Lala to “slow down,” she went on to say that her new man is in “the safe zone” age-wise (i.e., “just below 40”), unlike her ex, who was 20 years her senior. “I’ll never go that old. Twenty years is a lot,” she added, referencing the father of her daughter, Ocean.
Lala’s latest romance definitely seems to be going much better than one she discussed earlier this year. In March, she revealed during an Amazon Live that she was still dipping her toes into the dating pond.
“The last date I went on was a group date, because that’s the only thing I’m comfortable with right now,” she said. “He was fine, but the PI [private investigator] check didn’t come back so great. Haven’t been on a date since. I’ve been talking to people, but no dates.”
More than six months later, however, it seems Lala has changed her tune.
