Lisa Vanderpump Shares That She’s Feeling “So Much Better” After Horseback Riding Accident
The Vanderpump Rules boss reveals the adorable family member helping her recover from surgery.
Lisa Vanderpump is sharing an update on how she's feeling following the recent surgery she had to undergo after a horseback riding accident earlier this month. The Vanderpump Rules boss took to Instagram to reveal a glimpse at her recovery, along with the adorable family member with whom Lisa's been spending time cuddling with lately as she recuperates from her fall and subsequent surgery.
"I just know they make us feel so much better…happy Sunday," Lisa wrote in the caption of her February 13 post, alongside a picture of one of her dogs snuggling up next to her healing leg.
In addition to recuperating alongside one of her furry companions, Lisa also shared the well wishes and beautiful flowers she received recently while recovering from surgery.
"Thank you for all the well wishes and beautiful flowers, I am doing much better after surgery! 4 fractures in my leg and a badly bruised back, but I am on the road to recovery!" Lisa wrote in the caption of her February 6 post, adding, "I will be back in the saddle of life soon!"
It was first reported that Lisa had injured herself and was hospitalized after being thrown from a horse during a riding session at a Los Angeles area riding club on January 30.
Lisa, a long-time animal advocate and equestrian, has previously been open about her love for horses, including her two mini horses, Diamonds and Rosé, who've also kept her company at Villa Rosa, as the two ponies have both joined her (along with her dogs) to watch Vanderpump Rules together.
