Everything You Need to Know About The Abbey, the LA Club in the Middle of the Vanderpump Rules Drama (UPDATED)
Ally Lewber saw Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss hanging out at The Abbey, as she shared on the April 19 episode.
UPDATED (June 8, 9:10 A.M.): Ally was one of the first Vanderpump Rules cast members to raise suspicions about Sandoval and Raquel after she spotted them dancing together at The Abbey. And during Part 3 of the Season 10 reunion on June 7, she shared new details about the sighting.
"After See You Next Tuesday, we walk in and [Sandoval and Raquel] are dancing, and I was like, 'Oh, cool, everyone's here. Yay,'" she recounted to Scheana Shay. "And then I [look] around and I'm like, 'Ariana's not here. Where are they?' And it was like 1 a.m."
Responded Scheana, "They made it sound like they went with you guys to The Abbey. They were like, 'We were with everyone.'"
Ally, however, shut that notion down.

ICYMI: During the April 19 episode of Vanderpump Rules, Ally Lewber revealed that she spotted Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss hanging out together at The Abbey after one of James Kennedy’s See You Next Tuesday gigs.
The moment stood out to Ally because Ariana Madix wasn’t there hanging out with them. In the time since that night, fans have closely followed Tom and Ariana’s breakup and Raquel’s connection to it.
What Happened with Tom and Raquel at The Abbey in LA, According to Ally?
During Wednesday’s episode, Ally opened up about the night in question. “I saw Sandoval and Raquel dancing together at The Abbey after See You Next Tuesday,” Ally said on the April 19 episode, adding, “I thought it was kind of weird because it was like 1 a.m. and we were like, ‘Where’s Ariana?’”
While James brushed off the sighting when chatting with his girlfriend, Ally added in her interview in the episode, “I personally wouldn’t be comfortable with it, I guess, to have my boyfriend out at 1 a.m. with girls, but everyone’s different.”
Where Is The Abbey in Los Angeles?
The Vanderpump Rules drama aside, some fans outside of the Los Angeles area may not be familiar with the West Hollywood nightclub where Ally saw Tom and Raquel hanging out. The Abbey, as it turns out, is located just down the block from SUR.
What Is The Abbey in West Hollywood?
According to the club’s Instagram bio, the hotspot has been around for decades and is “celebrating 32 Years of Pride.” And the club’s Twitter bio adds that the Abbey is a “world-famous gay bar.” The Abbey, which is owned by David Cooley, hosts weekly events and has a staff that includes dancers mingling with partygoers.
Cooley spoke to E! News about The Abbey back in 2017, sharing, “My Hollywood dream was to move to Los Angeles, live openly as a gay man, and own my own business. For more than 25 years, I’ve lived that dream by making The Abbey a place where everyone is welcome and has an opportunity to follow their dreams. Every night at The Abbey is a different adventure. There are people visiting a gay bar for the first time, celebrities cutting loose, the staff hustling to fulfill their Hollywood dream, and all kinds of people looking for love, whether gay, straight, lesbian, or still figuring it out. There is something at The Abbey for everyone.”
It was the subject of its own show on E!, What Happens at The Abbey, several years ago. “The Abbey absolutely is a soap opera,” an Abbey employee named Elizabeth revealed in a teaser for the show at the time. “Which basically means there’s a lot of fighting and a lot of f--king!”

On the upcoming April 26 episode of Vanderpump Rules, Ally and Raquel will end up coming face-to-face at a group beach day. In the preview, Raquel sits down with Ally and tells her, “I see a lot of myself in you. I know that you’re happy in this relationship. Of course, you’re going to learn the lessons that you need to learn in your own time.”
